Is kohl safe or dangerous cosmetic ?

      we have seen , most of  ladies apply their  kohl (kajal ) inside the lids . It is popular eye care product & has been used since ancient times found is woman's vanity. Do you think is that safe ?

No ! That is not safe at all , kohl (kajal) is an traditional makeup in countries like  India & Arab. yes it enhance the beauty of eyes. It has been claimed that is keeps eyes cool and clean & also improves the vision. It is also been used as prevention and treatment of eyes diseases such as cataract , conjunctivitis ,blepharitis etc. I think it is myth .

Study has revealed that kohl comprises of galena (pbS) ,minium (pb3oO4),amorphous carbon ,magmetite (Fe3O4) & zincite (ZnO).Prolonged application can block the memobian glands of the eyelid which can disturb the tear film & can cause dry eye ,excessive lead storage can affect the brain & bone marrow causing convulsions & anemia .

So ,According to me kohl should be applied outerside of the  lids not inside , it will prevent yours eye .As our eyes are the most important we have relating to the world around .As it is said it is "mirror of our soul".
